INGREDIENTS
1 Tb shallots (fine dice)
1 Tb fresh basil (finely chopped)
2 pinches salt
1 pinch chili powder
1 Tb extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp lemon juice
6 oz albacore or yellowfin tuna steak (170 g)
Olive oil cooking spray
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the shallots, basil, salt, chili powder, olive oil and lemon juice in a small bowl and then coat the tuna and let marinate for 4 hours in the fridge. Turn every hour. Preheat a non-stick frying pan on medium heat. Lightly coat with spray and place tuna into the pan. Cook and turn until lightly browned on all sides. Tuna should still be rare in the middle.

For a quicker meal prep time, you can skip the marinating period and fry this up immediately.
