At Catacombs, we know that most of you have athletic passions beyond CrossFit. Our community is made up of mountain and road bikers, alpine and nordic skiers, runners and mountaineers, paddlers and hikers. Yes, we have serious CrossFitters, but most of us do the work in the gym so that we can have more fun “out there”…whatever that might mean for you. We’ve had a tough run of rainy, cloudy weather that kept many of us in the gym when we would have preferred to be on the trails. Now is your time to get out and soak in the Vitamin D and let your soul recharge as you practice your passions.
Thanks to those of you that proved over the last couple of weeks how well CrossFit translates to a smorgasbord of sports and adventures. Several of us road the Iron Horse with little to no road bike training. Others of you have jumped into mountain bike races with little time in the saddle due to limited training opportunities and weather windows. Whatever your reason for doing CrossFit, it’s good to know that you will be prepared to jump into whatever adventure crosses your path. And send us those pictures of your adventures! We want to share the cool stuff you are all doing with the rest of the community.
